What should and what can educational work do in view of still-widespread antisemitism, for example, in the form of pandemic-related conspiracy myths? And what role does adult education play here? Elke Rajal clarifies the term in her lecture and outlines the field of “antisemitism-critical educational work.” In the process, she will particularly examine the pitfalls and gaps in such educational efforts. Concluding with suggestions that can be used in practice, she will also show what successful antisemitism-critical educational work can look like.

Elke Rajal is a political scientist and is currently working at the Chair of Sociology at the University of Passau. She is involved in the “Ideologies and Politics of Inequality” Research Group.
