Experience the unique atmosphere of the Vienna Jewish New Year’s Concert, which is taking place for the 15th time in the historic setting of the Jewish Museum Vienna. This concert is a highlight of the traditional celebrations for the Jewish New Year, Rosh Hashanah, in Vienna.

According to oral tradition, the holiday - which is celebrated this year on September 12 and 13 - marks the day on which the creation of the world was completed. As part of Rosh Hashanah, the festive blowing of the shofar and the communal enjoyment of foods dipped in honey are celebrated - symbols of a sweet start to the new year.

The Vienna Jewish Choir will perform under the direction of Roman Grinberg. We welcome Tini Kainrath as a special guest. An atmospheric evening to ring in the new year!
